René Groth

René Groth ( born June 9, 1972 in Dresden ) is a retired German football player.

In 1977, René Groth began that matches with the SG Dynamo Dresden to learn; 1987 to 1989 he attended the Children's and Youth Sports School in Dresden. Groth began his career in 1991 as an amateur contract with the SG Dynamo Dresden. After the descent of Dynamo 1995 from the Bundesliga, he moved as a professional for FSV Zwickau in the 2nd Bundesliga. Groth graduated from duty 48 games. In 1998 he moved back to Dynamo Dresden; In 2000, he hired at VfB Leipzig. After the 2001/02 season as a player with VfB Leipzig Groth moved in the summer of 2002 back to the Elbe and was player-manager of FV Dresden South West.
