René Lewejohann

René Lewejohann (born 13 February 1984 in Herne ) is a German football player.

Career

Lewejohann played in the Youth for Westfalia Herne and VfL Bochum, with whom he reached the semifinals of the German A Youth Championship in the 2002/03 season. For the season 2003/ 04 he moved to LR Ahlen, where he played his first game in the 2nd Bundesliga on 21 September 2003. In the game against 1 FSV Mainz 05 he replaced. Since, however, he came only to seven inserts at LR Ahlen in two years he left in the summer of 2005, the club and the second team of FC Schalke 04 joined them. There he became a regular player, completed 51 league games for Schalke, scoring 13 goals. During this time, however, he also withdrew two metatarsal fractures to within half a year.
