The Rengse is a 5.2 km long, orographic left tributary of the Agger in North Rhine -Westphalia, Germany. It flows through the Oberbergisch district.

Geography

The Rengse rises on the southern slope of the Homert in Oberbergischer to 457 m above sea level. NN, northeast of the village belonging to Gummersbach Oberrengse. It flows in a south-westerly direction past Oberrengse, Hardt, Wörde and Niederrengse and fed as the smallest of the three inlets to 284 m above sea level. NN the Ostausläufer or Rengsearm the Aggertalsperre. On its 5.2 km long path from the source to the mouth she has overcome 173 meters of altitude, which corresponds to a bed slope of 54.6 ‰.

Prior to the erection of Aggertalsperre the Rengse between Bruchberg and Hackenberg left side resulted in the Agger. Its length was about 7 km.
