Restatements of the Law

As restatements of the law published by the American Law Institute treatises are referred to in the laws of the United States, representing the case law of the individual states systematically. You do not have the rank of a real source of law and correspond to their rank in the courts about the more important textbooks. The restatements issued since 1923 and are each based on an important topic, so agency in the early years, conflict of laws, contract law, judgments are, property, restitution, security, torts and trusts. From the early 1950s this was mostly brought up to date and in expanded form as a restatement ( Second) or Restatement ( Third ) issued.
