Restoration (England)

As Stuart Restoration (English Restoration ) the period 1660-1689 is referred to in English history, as among kings, Charles II and James II from the House of Stuart abolished the monarchy during the English Civil War was restored.

The possibility of this restoration resulted after the death of the Lord Protector Oliver Cromwell in 1658, because its system of government proved to be unsustainable, and his son Richard as unsuitable successor.
