Resurrection Band

Resurrection band, also known as Rez Band or REZ, is a Hardrock-/Blues-Band from Chicago, USA. They are among the best-known representatives of the Contemporary Christian music scene, all members are part of the Jesus People.

Band History

REZ was founded in the early 1970s by Glenn Kaiser. Early seventies remembered their sound to bands like Led Zeppelin and Jefferson Airplane. In the 1980s they moved more to hard rock, similar to the style of Van Halen. As one of the first of the Contemporary Christian music scene, they released a music video, which was also seen on MTV. In the 1990s, their music changed in the direction of modern blues-rock.

The focus of their publications and numerous live concerts, which led her to Europe, was always the proclamation of their faith.

In July 2000, the band broke up due to the many other activities of the members. Singer and guitarist Glenn Kaiser teamed up with bassist Roy Montroy and drummer Ed Bialach the blues-rock band Glenn Kaiser Band.
