Retro Stefson

Retro Stefson is an Icelandic pop band from Reykjavík.

Band History

Founded as a school band in 2006, the band released their first album Montaña, nor exclusively in their former homeland Iceland published in 2009. On 20 May 2011 they released their second album Kimbabwe. At the beginning still rather face the rap, extended the now Berlin resident Icelander very soon their spectrum. The songs are mostly sung in Icelandic, Portuguese and English.

Style

The music style describes the guitarist Unnsteinn Manuel Stefánsson in an interview: "We sound like Van Halen, who in his kitchen mixes on a summer day a banana smoothie. " He can be classified into a known category barely. There are bonds from many different genres combined.
