Retrograde - War on the ice is an American Sci-Fi/Actionfilm of director Christopher Kulikowski in 2004 with Dolph Lundgren in the lead role.

Action

In the year 2204 the earth is contaminated by a deadly alien virus. Only a few earthlings with a particular immune system have survived. Foster, Dalton and her crew are sent back 200 years in time to prevent the discovery of a meteorite that contains the virus and destroy it. But Dalton pursues their own plans and finally takes command.

Foster manages though to land on Earth, but can not escape Dalton. It comes to a duel, in which Dalton with the meteorite comes into contact and Foster is injured. Foster is rescued by the crew of an icebreaker.

The scientists of the icebreaker investigate the meteorite and become infected unknowingly. Meanwhile, Dalton and his men try to stop Foster, but Foster can flee and destroyed all the broken pieces of the meteorite. He travels a little further into the past to save one of the researchers, and then returns to his own time.
