Révfülöp

Révfülöp [re ː ː f yløp ] is a large village in Hungary, which is located on the northern shore of Lake Balaton ( Balaton ) between the towns of Balatonrendes and Balatonszepezd. Major cities in the surrounding area ( north shore ) are:

History

Révfülöp was first mentioned in the 13th century. Later the place an important ferry crossing ( rév =, Ferry ') was to the south shore. Today Révfülöp is a resort.
