Revolutionary Committee of the Kuomintang

The Revolutionary Committee of the Kuomintang (Chinese中国 国民党 革命 委员会/中国 国民党 革命 委员会, pinyin Zhōngguó Guómíndǎng Geming Wěiyuánhuì ) is one of eight registered minor political parties (except the Communist Party of China ) in the People's Republic of China. The party can not act as opposition to the government: Democratic parties are neither non- ruling nor the opposition parties, but contributing to the government parties.

The Committee was established in January 1948 by the Kuomintang links dissenters during the Chinese Civil War, including Sun Yat-sen's widow, Song Qingling, the longtime chairman. The party sees itself as the legitimate heir of the estate of Sun Yat-sen. She has over 65 000 members.

The RCC has the second largest number of members from 30 % in the Central Committee since 2007 and is represented by Zhou Tienong as chairman.
