Revolutionary Socialist Party (Zambia)

Revolutionary Socialist Party is a historical political party in Zambia.

It was founded in 1992 and was Marxist -oriented. The party was led by Faustina Chilesire.

Resolution

The RSP broke up, it created the Social Democratic Party ( SDP), Socialist Caucus and Zambia Alliance for Progress (ZAP ). SDP and ZAP participated in the election in Zambia in 2001, where they reached together under one percent of the vote. To the left ideological spectrum in Zambia was practically non-existent as a political force. The contrasts of city - Township - Land have long been differently formulated and represented.
