RFC Seraing

The RFC Seraing ( not to be confused with the RFC Liège ) is a former Belgian football club based in Seraing in the province of Liège.

History

The club was founded in 1900 as FC Seraing. 1904, the association was officially registered in the Belgian federation. 1928 merged the club with FC Beausejour and was called from now on Royal FC Seraing. From 1982 to 1987 and from 1993 to 1996 the club played in the highest Belgian league. The best finish in the first division managed the club in the 1993/1994 season, where you gained 3rd place as a climber at first, which led to qualification for the UEFA Cup in 1994/95. In 1994, the official name was changed to RFC Seraing. This year, the club played the only time in international competition, but the difference RFC Seraing already in the first round of the UEFA Cup against Dynamo Moscow.
