Rho Indi

Rho Indi ( Indi ρ, ρ Ind short ) is a star of about 86 light years from Earth and which is surrounded by an exoplanet. The star has the apparent magnitude of 6.06 like the 1.07 times the solar mass, compared to 1.64 times the solar radius and is of spectral type G4 IV-V.

Rho Indi b

The exoplanet orbiting the star with the systematic name Rho Indi b orbits the main star in about 1300 days and has a minimum mass of about 2 Jupiter masses. The exoplanet was discovered in 2002 using the radial velocity method.
