The Rhonelle at Famars

The Rhonelle is a river in France, which runs in the department of Nord, in the Nord -Pas -de -Calais. It rises in the municipality of Locquignol, in the Regional Natural Park Avesnois, drained generally in a northwesterly direction and leads after 32 km in the city of Valenciennes in a partially underground drainage channel. This leads over the Vieil Escaut ( Scheldt old ) called oxbow lake for channelized river Scheldt, where it flows as a right tributary.
