Ricardo Ferreira da Silva, also known by the stage name Ricardinho, ( born September 9, 1984 in Curitiba ) is a Brazilian footballer. The full-back won 2010 with Malmö FF to the Swedish championship title.

Career

Ricardinho began his career in 2003 when Coritiba FC in the Brazilian Série A. In his second year in the competition team he established himself as a regular player, but increased with the team in 2005 in the Série B from. Again, he showed good performance, so Atlético Mineiro signed him for 2007 which takes place in the spring of Minas Gerais State Championship on loan. Since he could not prevail, he returned in the autumn back to his original club back with which he ascended back to the Série A at the end of the season. As a regular player he was in the first division at the ninth place in the table.

After the year Ricardinhos contract with Coritiba FC had expired, he left Brazil in January 2009 and joined the Swedish club Malmö FF. In his new club he was at first team regular on the left side of the back four. In the 2010 season he played 22 games and was instrumental in helping the team to Ulrich Vinzents, Guillermo Molins, Wilton Figueiredo and Daniel Larsson to Lennart Johansson trophy fetched for the Swedish Championship. After it was changed in the summer of master coach Roland Nilsson, FC Copenhagen, came rumors of a change of the player also to Denmark on, however, denied this, implying an extension of his contract in Sweden. End of September, he eventually signed a three -year contract.
