Richard Freitag
Richard Freitag (born 14 August 1991 Erlabrunn, County Black Mountain ) is a German ski jumper. His greatest successes so far are the silver medal with the German team at the Ski Flying World Championships 2012 in Vikersund and the Nordic World Ski Championships 2013 in Val di Fiemme. He also won the 2013 World Cup in the inaugural Mixed Competition, the bronze medal. Friday is Sports soldier of the Bundeswehr sports promotion group in the Saxon town of Frankenberg.
Life
Richard Friday came in the hospital of the Saxon Erlabrunn to the world, in the above, the ski legends Jens Weißflog and Sven Hanna forest saw the light of day. He is a son of the former East German ski jumper Holger Friday and lives with his parents in width Brunn. In 2011, Friday could put a high school sports high school in Upper Wiesenthal. Career

In the World Cup he was first used on 29 December 2009 at the Four Hills Tournament in Oberstdorf, having previously garnered success in the Continental Cup. At the start of the World Cup season 2011/12 he finished in ninth place in Kuusamo and reached the second place in Lillehammer December 3, 2011 his first podium. A weekend later, he won on the Čerťák in Harrachov ahead of Thomas Morgenstern and Severin Freund his first World Cup competition. At the same jump his father Holger Friday had been able to celebrate his only World Cup victory on January 8, 1983. In the Ski Flying World Championships 2012 in Vikersund Friday flew the first German to a width of 230 meters. In the same competition, he was silver medalist along with the German team. On November 30, 2012, he was victorious for the first time with the German team when jumping from the Rukatunturi hill in Kuusamo. His second victory celebrated Friday at February 16, 2013 as part of the FIS Team Tour in 2013, when he won the ski flying from Heini Klopfer ski jump in Oberstdorf.
In the case of the Nordic World Ski Championships 2013 in Val di Fiemme inaugural Mixed team competition, he won the German team alongside Carina Vogt, Ulrike Gräßler and Severin Freund behind Japan and Austria the bronze medal. Previously, he had been jumping on the normal hill sixth. In the team competition on the large hill, he won with his team-mate Andreas Wank, Severin Freund and Michael Neumayer behind Austria the silver medal in the team competition on the large hill, after the Norwegian team subsequently due to a miscalculation of the start-up the silver medal was stripped.
