Richard Jenčík

Richard Jenčík (born 1 January 1985 in Košice, Czechoslovakia) is a Slovak ice hockey player who is under contract with HC Kosice in the Slovak Extraliga since 2003.

Career

Richard Jenčík began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior section of the HC Košice. In the season 2002/ 03 he gave for the HK Trebišov his debut in professional hockey when he was in the first league, the second Slovak League, prepared a goal in two games. For the 2003/04 season the winger returned to HC Košice, for which he has since then played in the Extraliga. In parallel, however, he came again and again as Players out on loan in the first league to use and played there for the HC 07 Prešov, HK Trebišov, HKm Humenné and the HC 46 Bardejov. In the 2007 /08 season he also completed four games for the Extraliga participants MHK SkiPark Kežmarok. With the HC Košice he won in 2009, 2010 and 2011, three times in a row the Slovak champion.

Internationally

For Slovakia Jenčík took part in the U20 World Youth Championship in 2005. In six games, he prepared it before two goals.
