Richard Lambourne

Richard Edward Lambourne ( born May 6, 1975 in Louisville ( Kentucky) ) is an American volleyball player.

Career

Lambourne retired at the age of six years in a bike accident serious injuries to the shoulder and face. Nevertheless, he began a career in sport, first in baseball. At Brigham Young University, he came to the volleyball first played as an outside attacker before he was Libero. In November 2000 he made his debut for the U.S. national team and reached in 2001 with the team the final of the NORCECA Championship. In the same year he went to the Austrian League to the Aon hotVolleys Vienna. With the club he won the 2002 and 2003 twice in a row, the national league and cup double. In addition, the U.S. team with Lambourne 2003, the victory in the Continental Cup succeeded. Subsequently, the Libero played one season for the Dutch club Piet Zoomers Apeldoorn and in Greece GS Lamia.
