Richard Lewis (Comedian)

Richard Lewis ( born June 29, 1947 in Brooklyn, New York City, New York as Richard Philip Lewis ) is an American actor and comedian.

In addition to guest appearances in various series, especially two of his roles are worth mentioning: He played Prince John in Mel Brooks ' Robin Hood - Men in Tights and the doctor Phil Taylor in the Western spoof Wagons East!

For his performances, he was nominated twice for comedian prices.

Growing up is Richard Lewis in Englewood, New Jersey, attended Dwight Morrow High School, graduating in 1969 to study at the Ohio State University in Marketing from and since 1971 he makes comedy in New York. By 1974, he joined the Johnny Carson Show. This was his first major appearance.

Since 2005, he is married to Joice Lapinsky.

In addition to his acting career, he is known in the U.S. primarily as a writer for various magazines.
