Richard Salwey

Richard Salwey (* 1615, † 1685) was an English politician.

Life

Richard Salwey was the fourth son of Humphrey Salwey and his wife Anne, the second daughter of Edward Littleton. He had four brothers, including Edward Salwey, and three sisters.

Salwey was a supporter of Oliver Cromwell. From 1645 to 1653 it belonged to the House of Commons for the constituency of Appleby. 1653 he was appointed deputies in Barebone 's Parliament and represented the constituency there Worcestershire.
