Richard Wawro

Richard Wawro ( born April 14, 1952 in Newport-on -Tay, † 22 February 2006 in Edinburgh) was a visual artist from Scotland.

Wawro was autistic and had an island talent. He painted from his memory with perfect precision since his childhood pictures. He painted scenes detail that he had only seen for a few seconds on TV. That purpose he used crayons.

Collectors of his works are / were, among others, Margaret Thatcher and Pope John Paul II
