The Richmond Park (Irish Páirc Richmond ) is a football stadium in the Irish capital Dublin. The built in 1925 and opened in the same year, the stadium can accommodate 5,340 spectators and is the club St Patrick's Athletic as a home ground.

History

By 1951 the stadium served the St. Patrick's Athletic as a home ground, before it was found with the introduction of the League of Ireland, that the lawn of Richmond Park and was not suitable for major league football. Therefore, the club had initially move to another stadium, the Richmond Park was renovated in 1960. Since St. Patrick's plays in this stadium.

In Richmond Park so far the finals of the Irish Cup competition of 1982 and 2005 were held. Also, here a number of women's international matches and youth tournaments are held. Other clubs such as Shamrock Rovers or Dublin City used the Richmond Park from time to time for their home games, while their stadiums were rebuilt.

The Richmond Park Stadium is used along with soccer for concerts. So played here already Mungo Jerry (1970 ), and Thin Lizzy.
