Říčky v Orlických horách

Ricky Orlické Mountains ( German Ritschka ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located 14 km north-east of Rychnov nad Kněžnou in the Eagle Mountains and belongs to Okres Rychnov nad Kněžnou.

Geography

The scattered settlement is below the main ridge in the southern part of the Eagle Mountains and spreads in the valley of Říčka ( hermitage ) with six inflows from. To the north rises the 990 -meter high Zaklety, on whose slopes several ski lifts were built. To the northeast are the Komáří vrch ( 992 m) and to the east of the Mezivrší (939 m) and the Anenský vrch ( 991 m).

Neighboring towns are Orlické Záhoří and Nová Ves in the northeast, Neratov in the east, Horni Rokytnice in the southeast, Rokytnice in the south, Nebeská Rybná in the southwest, and Pustiny Souvlastni in the west and Ryse and Zdobnice in the northwest.

History

Was first documented in 1577 the village together with Zdobnice in a landfill at the Mint Kuttenberg deed over both villages and surrounding forests. At the beginning of the 17th century was Rokytnice starting the further colonization ( with Germans ) in the woodlands below the mountain ridge. In addition to forestry was operated at that time mining of iron ore and lead, and gold. Johann Nicolaus Nostic brought German settlers from Westphalia, the Haberner country and the county of Glatz in the area. 1609 forestry workers were brought in from the Giant Mountains for the management of forest areas.

1703 sold Leopold I. Ricky and Zdobnice including forests Norbert Kolowrat. Until the opening of their own school in 1785, the children went to Heavenly Rybnai to class. The parish was also there. 1790 to 1792 the church was built. 1808 took over the new three-class school to teach. 1855 Branch church became a parish church in Ritschka. In 1860, the village in the district team Senftenberg consisted of 183 Kaluppen and property.

The new road from Rokytnice Orlické Mountains to Zdobnice was built in 1906; 1913 also the road of Rokytnice the ridge to black water and Kronstadt was finished. 1934 the municipal council decided to rename Ricky in Ritschka. Between 1935 and 1938, on the crest of the Eagle Mountains, the construction of bunker lines of the Czechoslovak Walls; while the chapel of St. Anne, including the statues and the crucifix from Ernestine mountain was implemented on forest house Hadinec. After the Munich Agreement, the town was incorporated as part of the district Grulich into the German Reich. 1939 Ritschka 873 inhabitants. After the Second World War was the expulsion of the German inhabitants; in 1947 by the population had dropped from 517 to 437. The vacant property were handed over to Wolhynientschechen, but who migrated again.

Since the 1950s, Ricky was always more to the village and had in 1955 still only 66 permanent residents. In 1954, the village was visited by more than 1,300 holiday guests, in 1946 it was only half as many. In 1975, the city was incorporated into Rokytnice and closed the school in the same year. Ricky had 113 inhabitants at that time. In 1990, the city regained its independence.
