Rider (theater)

A Stage Rider or technical rider (usually only TecRider or TechRider ) is a document that describes the technical requirements of an artist for his performances. Mostly it involves musicians and bands, thereby facilitating in advance of an event to the organizer and the sound and light technicians planning.

Meaningful content

Often a Stage Rider includes a stage occupancy ( Illustration) with information on the positioning of the equipment such as instruments, amplifiers and monitors, required sockets, dimensions, a list of the required effect devices, a description of the mixing consoles for light and sound, channel occupancy, number and type of headlights ( with details of color and positioning ), and indication for which maximum magnitude of the event this Stage Rider is intended.

Context

Often the stage is Rider part or extension of the contract, which is concluded between artists and promoters.
