Rielasingen- Worblingen is a municipality in the district of Konstanz south of Singen ( Hohentwiel ) in Baden- Württemberg, close to the Swiss border.

Geographical location

Rielasingen- Worblingen is located on the Radolfzell Aach.

Community structure

The municipality consists of the three formerly independent communities Rielasingen, Arlen and Worblingen with the villages Rielasingen with Arlen and Worblingen and the courts Rosenegg and Hittisheim.

History

The present district of Arlen was first mentioned in 1005 in a charter of Emperor Henry II, in which it transmits the Monastery of St. Georgen on the Hohentwiel to Stein am Rhein.

A medieval ruins, the castle Rosenegg, located on the slopes of Rosenegg 1500 meters of Rielasingen.

In the district Worblingen there was from the early 17th to the early 20th century, a small Jewish community. A separate Jewish cemetery was established in 1857.

The community Rielasingen- Worblingen was formed on 1 January 1975 by the Association of Municipalities Rielasingen and Worblingen.

Mayor and Administration

Mayor of the municipality is since April 2007 Ralf Baumert. The community is with the municipalities Steisslingen and Volkertshausen involved in the Agreed administrative community of the city of Singen (Hohentwiel ).

Twinning

The partnership with Nogent -sur -Seine in the Champagne- Ardenne ( France ) Region was established in 1973 with the Swiss village in the Canton of Solothurn Lostorf the partnership was registered in 1998. Ardea in Latium region (Italy ) is the newest sister city, this partnership has existed since 2002.

Culture and sights

Structures

In Arlen is the Catholic Church of St. Stephan and Blasius. The current church building was built after 1962 were performed demolition of the former late Gothic chapel.

Museums

In the Old Town Hall in Worblingen the Village Museum is housed.

Education

With the Ten - Brink - school there is a secondary and secondary school in the community. To this end, there are still three pure primary schools ( Hardenberg school, Hebelschule, bushel school). There are also three communal and two Roman Catholic kindergartens.

Public institutions

In the village there is a public library and since 2009 at the Aach a natural pool.

Traffic

The Rielasingen railway station is on the railway line Etzwilen singing. On this route, however, since 1969, at no passenger trains and freight trains since 2004, no more.
