Rietz-Neuendorf

Rietz -Neuendorf ( Lower Nowa Wjas rece PSI ) is a municipality and south-east of Berlin in the Oder-Spree district of Brandenburg. Today's (large) municipality was only between 2001 and 2003 by the merger of 13 municipalities. The municipal area is identical to the existing 1992 to 2003 Office Glienicke / Rietz -Neuendorf.

The municipality is a member of the working group "Historical village centers " in the state of Brandenburg.

Geography

The community Rietz -Neuendorf is bordered to the north by the municipality Langewahl (Official Scharmutzelsee ), in the northeast and east by the municipalities Berkenbrück and Briesen (Mark ) (both office or foreland ), to the east and southeast to the communities Mullrose and Ragow -Merz (both Office Schlaubetal ), to the south by the official free city Beeskow and the municipality and diver, on the southwest by the official free city Storkow (Mark), on the west by the municipalities of Wendish -Rietz, Diensdorf -Radlow and Bad Saarow ( all official Scharmutzelsee ).

History

Rietz -Neuendorf was the name of a small community that was incorporated into Görzig on 1 July 1950. On December 31, 2001, a new area municipality under the name Rietz -Neuendorf was formed to which banded together first eleven former municipalities.

Office Glienicke / Rietz -Neuendorf

As part of the education offices in 1992 in Brandenburg, 13 municipalities in the former circles Beeskow and Fiirstenwalde merged to the Official Glienicke / Rietz -Neuendorf. The Minister of the Interior of Brandenburg issued on 9 September 1992 its approval for the formation of the Office Glienicke / Rietz -Neuendorf. The limitation of the consent was revoked with effect from 25 August 1994. As of 31 December 2001, Ahrens village, Birkholz, Buckow, Drahendorf, Görzig, United Rietz, Herzberg, Neubrückenstraße (Spree), Pfaff village, sows and Wilmersdorf merged to form the new municipality Rietz -Neuendorf. For the 19th October 2003, the municipalities Alt Golm and Glienicke were incorporated by law in the community Rietz -Neuendorf. The Office Glienicke / Rietz -Neuendorf was dissolved, the commune Rietz -Neuendorf was official free. The municipality Alt Golm raised before the Constitutional Court of the State of Brandenburg municipal constitutional complaint, which was rejected. Coat of arms

Blazon: " From silver and red split on a sign foot forward a half oak and beech at the gap behind a half, all in confused colors. "

The coat of arms shows a split tree that assembles into one half of a heraldic stylized oak and a stylized heraldic book, a coat of arms artistically very interesting figure. The design represents the natural and wooded community located on the corridor of the Beeskower plate area community Rietz -Neuendorf with its 14 districts (7 oak and beech leaves 7 ).

The coat of arms image also refers to a scientific forestry and forestry tradition in the community.
