Right lymphatic duct

The right lymphatic duct (Latin for " right Lymphgang " ) is a short larger lymph vessel ( Lymphsammelstamm ) of the neck and part of the lymphatic system.

It arises from the union of the lymphatics of the right arm and the right side of the head and neck (truncus trachealis dexter ) and empties into the right venous angle. He ensures that the lymph of the respective body portions is again transferred back into the blood. Occasionally omitted the union of Achsellymphgefäße with the trunk trachealis, in which case the extended tail of the celiac trachealis is called lymphatic duct.
