The Chairman is the entrepreneur Gogi Topadse. He is the founder of Kazbegi brewery in Tbilisi. Topadse belongs to the older generation of Georgian businessmen.

At the parliamentary elections on October 1, 2005, the parties of the new right with the Conservative Party, the Georgian Labour Party and the freedom movement had formed an electoral alliance.
