Rigó Jancsi

Rigó Jancsi is the name of a Hungarian violinist and a pastry named after him.

Rigó (1858 - 1927) (surname Hungarian style prefixed ) was a famous Zigeunerprimás, the formerly married to a Belgian Prince, American millionaire's daughter Clara Ward, Princesse de Caraman - Chimay (1873 -1916 ) in 1894 met and married in the sequence. The romance 1896-98 aroused great public attention. Relatively soon after the wedding, there was, however, because of the unfaithfulness rigos to re- divorce.

Cake

In the same cake is a two layer chocolate cake glazed with a thick layer of chocolate cream filling.

On the relation of the name of the violinist with the cake, there is confusion. , Maybe it is just about the commercial gimmick of a confectioner.
