Rijeka International Airport ( kroat.: Zračna luka Rijeka ) is located on the Croatian island of Krk, 26 km from Rijeka. Its runway is 2500 m long and 45 m wide.
Airlines and destinations
Since the initiation of the first line connections by Hapag -Lloyd Express and later by TUIfly passenger traffic had increased steadily over the first few years. Currently, the airport is connected to 17 cities in Europe. These include the German-speaking Condor with the airport to Frankfurt and German wings with Cologne / Bonn, Stuttgart and Berlin- Tegel. Ryanair has been flying since April 2013 Weeze and Hahn in Germany and other targets in Belgium, England, Sweden and Norway. Skywork Airlines flies (seasonal) to Bern.
In 2006, the passenger volume was approximately 210,000 passengers.

The airport can be reached crossing from Rijeka by car via highway E65, which is also called highway state road 8 and then on the state road 102, the Krk Bridge. Furthermore, moves immediately after arrival of each scheduled flight, a shuttle bus of the company Autotrolej to Rijeka. Similarly, the bus, adapted to the departure times from the center to the airport.
