Rik Verbrugghe

Verbrugghe (born 23 July 1974 in Tienen, Belgium ) is a former Belgian cyclist. Verbrugghe was an all-rounder and prologue specialist. So he could 2001 2005 decide the prologue of the Giro d' Italia in Pescara and the Eneco Tour in Mechelen for themselves.

After seven years at the Belgian cycling team lotto changed Verbrugghe 2005 for one year for team Quick Step. From 2006 he drove for the Équipe Cofidis. End of the 2008 season, he finished his career.
