Riki Gal

Riki Gal (Hebrew, ריקי גל, civil: Rebecca Ben- Menachem, * July 7, 1950 in Jerusalem) is an Israeli singer.

Her career began in 1973 with the song Ha - ha - shemesh hi ha'or shel olam ( The sun is the light of the world ). As a result, they wrote several hits like Jeled ra ( Bad Boy ), Toda raba ( thank you ), Emet o Jehovah ( guilt or innocence ) and Ahavat Emet ( True Love ), with whom she had a presence on television and radio. She often performed at festivals and musicals. In the years 1979, 1980 and 1983 she participated in the Israeli preliminaries for the Euro Vision Song Contest, but could not qualify. Their first record was not published until 1987 Then she released several more albums, partly in rock style. ;, the latest step was The Best of Riki Gal from the year 2003.

Riki Gal was married from 1971 to 1975 with the actor Yisrael Poliakov. She has an adopted daughter.
