Rikke Hørlykke

Rikke Hørlykke ( born 2 May 1976) is a former Danish handball player.

Hørlykke started playing handball at Ballerup HK. After the backcourt player then aground for Værløse HK and Virum Sorgenfri HK, in 1998 she moved to German Bundesliga TV Lützellinden. In 1999, she celebrated with Lützellinden winning the DHB Cup. In the same year Hørlykke returned to Denmark, where he played the next three seasons at FIF. From 2002 to 2004, the right-handed throwing their doors to GOG. In 2004 she signed a contract with Slagelse FH. With Slagelse they won the 2005 championship and the EHF Champions League. As Hørlykke in 2006 became pregnant, she let her contract with Slagelse dissolve. In February 2011, she gave a brief comeback in the first division relegation FIF. From January 2012, ran on Hørlykke for Virum Sorgenfri HK. With Virum Sorgenfri they increased after the 2011/12 season in the 1st Division, the second highest Danish league on. After the 2012/13 season, she finished her career.

Hørlykke played 125 matches for the Danish women's handball national team, in which they scored 234 hits. With Denmark in 2004, she won the Olympic gold medal in 2002 and the European Championship.

Rikke Hørlykke is married to the handball player Klavs Bruun Jørgensen.
