Rikken Seiyūkai
Rikken Seiyūkai (Japanese立 宪政 友 会, dt as: "Friends of Constitutional Government " or " Constitutional Association of Political Friends " ), often abbreviated to Seiyūkai, was from its foundation in 1900 by the politician Itō Hirobumi until its dissolution and association with other parties -party system of the Taisei Yokusankai in 1940 the leading Japanese party. The party was founded by Itō, to establish its power base and presented numerous prime minister - including in 1918 the first " commoner " Hara Takashi - and ministers. She represented this liberal goals and promoted the parliamentary influence on the government. At the same time she acted for the interests of large landowners and a few large companies. Since 1932, their effect is reduced by infighting.
