Rima Ariadaeus

The Rima Ariadaeus is a straight groove on the Earth's moon, with more than 300 kilometers to the selenographic coordinates 6.4 ° N, 14.0 ° E. It is believed that it originated as a portion of the lunar crust between two parallel fault lines plummeted and created a grave breach. The moon historically relatively young structure is covered by only a few craters.

It is named after the crater Ariadaeus, which also marks its eastern end.
