Rin-ne

Kyōkai no gutter (Japanese境界 のGUTTER ) is a manga series of Japanese graphic artist Rumiko Takahashi, published since 2009. The work is classified in the genres Shōnen, comedy and romance.

Content

The high school student Sakura Mamiya (真 宫 桜) has been a supernatural experience in their childhood the ability to see ghosts. But she stressed that ability, as most spirits they address and harass. One day at school she meets gutter Rokudo (六道 りんね, gutter = " Samsara ", Rokudo = " six realms "), which, half shinigami, half human, is initially not perceived by the other students. This is due to the special sheath, called " Yomi no Haori " (黄泉 の 羽織, dt " Robe of the Underworld " ), and he carries that makes him invisible to humans. Soon, however, he appears without this coat in school and seems like a normal student.

In fact, however channel has the task of wandering spirits to the cycle of rebirth ( samsara wheel of life ) to bring, which then appears as a giant red wheel in the sky. This allows the spirits leaving the local world to be born again. The fact that he sticks since the death of his grandfather in financial need and has no fixed abode, does not facilitate him this task. Publication

The manga has been published since April 2009 in the manga magazine Shonen Sunday the publisher Shogakukan. The individual chapters were published previously in 18 anthologies. The American publisher Viz Media published the chapter on English in their Shonen Sunday site.

The manga has been published since May 2010 in Egmont Manga and Anime in German, so far 15 volumes have been published.

The first two volumes sold in Japan in the two weeks after its release is already divided among about 90 000 times. Of all three volumes now over 200 000 copies were sold.

On 7 June 2011, the 100th chapter was published. On this occasion presented Shogakukan the 100th chapter online at their website for future reference.
