Rina Zelyonaya

Rina Seljonaja (Russian Рина Зелёная, real name Ekaterina Wassiljewna Seljonaja / Екатерина Васильевна Зелёная; * 25 Oktoberjul / November 7 1901greg in Tashkent, Russian Empire, .. † April 1, 1991, Moscow, Soviet Union) was a Soviet theater and film actress.

Life

In 1919 graduated from the Higher Theatre School Seljonaja of Moscow. Since 1921 she played at the theaters ' balagancik " ( Bretterbüdchen ) in Petrograd, " Krot " ( mole ) in Odessa and" Ne Rydai " ( Do not cry ) in Moscow. In 1924, it comes in the Moscow Teatr Satiry (theater of satire ). In 1928 she moves to the Teatr obosreni (theater of the round look ). In the 1930s, she appeared with children's stories, worked on the radio.

During the Great Patriotic War, she traveled with actresses brigades to the front lines, for which she was awarded the Red Star Order.

Her stage name " Rina " was created, as not fit on a poster of the full name " Ekaterina Seljonaja " on it.

Rina Seljonaja was always skeptical about awards were concerned. She always said "Even if I get an award, then 40 minutes before my death. " So it happened in reality: On April 1, 1991, the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR approved the award of Rina Seljonaja as a People's Artist of the USSR; a few hours later died Rina Seljonaja.

Buried it is in Moscow, on the Wwedenskoje Cemetery next to her husband Konstantin Topuridse, academician of architecture.
