Ringette

Ringette is a sport that was invented in 1963 in North Bay, Ontario in Canada. It is similar to ice hockey, and was originally intended for women. Currently there are 50,000 who deal in Canada with this sport. The sport is also known in the U.S., Finland, Sweden, Russia and France.

Ringette is played with an oblong floor instead of a hockey stick and a rubber ring instead of a puck. Players must put the rubber rings with the help of the stick in the opponent's goal, which is identical to the Eishockeytor.

A team consists of 11 to 17 people. Please adhere to six people simultaneously standing on ice (1 goalie, 2 defenders, 1 center, 2 strikers ).
