Ristolas

Ristolas is a commune with 80 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the Hautes-Alpes department in the Provence- Alpes- Côte d' Azur. It belongs to the district Briançon and Canton Aiguilles.

Geography

The mountain village lies in the valley of the Guil, about 30 kilometers south-east of Briançon. The eastern boundary of the municipality lies on the main Alpine ridge which forms the ' border with Italy here.
