Ritchie De Laet

Richard Ria Alfons De Laet ( born November 28, 1988 in Antwerp) is a Belgian football player who plays mainly in defense. He is currently at Leicester City under contract.

De Laet began playing football at Royal Antwerp FC in his home town. On 17 August 2007 he signed a three - year contract with the then second division club Stoke City. Stoke City will according to media reports have paid £ 100,000 for the then 19 -year-olds. His first game for Stoke City, he completed the 4-1 against Portsmouth.

In January 2009, De Laet moved to Manchester, where, however, he should first learn the ropes in the second team.
