Ritus Krjauklis

Rite Krjauklis ( born April 23, 1986 in Ilūkste ) is a Latvian footballer, who plays for Ajax Cape Town in the South African Premier Soccer League.

Career

Association

Rite Krjauklis began his career in his hometown Ilūkste. In the youth of the FK Ilūkste, which lies on the border with Lithuania in the south-eastern Latvia, he played until the year 2002. From there he moved to FC Dinaburg then in their youth. In the 2006 the defender was at FK Ventspils in the Virsliga under contract and was there to have completed without a competitive match, Latvian champion. After the end of the season he returned to FC Dinaburg and remained there for three seasons. In 2010 Krjauklis returned again back to FK Ventspils and won with the club from the port city of Ventspils, the Baltic League. At the end of the 2010 Krjauklis moved to Azerbaijan AZAL PFC Baku to. In the club from the Premyer Liqasi this signed a contract for two years, but changed after the end of the second half of the season 2010/11 back to Latvia Liepaja Metalurgs. There he remained for two years and moved in 2012 along with his teammates from Liepāja Pāvels Šteinbors to Golden Arrows in South Africa. After just one season at the club from Durban Krjauklis moved to Ajax Cape Town.

National

Since 2009, Rite Krjauklis playing for the Latvian national football team. He made his debut in the match against Bulgaria in August 2009 in Sofia. With Latvia, he attended the Baltic Cup 2010 in part in Lithuania and was second behind the hosts.
