Ritva Lemettinen

Ritva Lemettinen - Melender ( born September 9, 1960) is a Finnish long-distance runner who specializes in the marathon.

In Marathon the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, she took the 14, at the World Athletics Championships in Stuttgart in 1993 the 18th Place. In the same year she was Finnish champion in the 10,000 meter race.

In 1991 she won the Honolulu Marathon in 1993 and 1995, the Chicago Marathon, 1994, she was second of the Rotterdam Marathon, and in 1995 they presented as a third of the London Marathon with 2:28:00 h the current Finnish record.

In 2005 she won for the third time after 1988 and 1989, the Helsinki Marathon.
