Ritvars Rugins

Ritvars Rugins ( born October 17, 1989 in Tukums ) is a Latvian footballer, who is since January 2012 Illitschiwez Mariupol in the Ukrainian Premjer - Liha under contract. Since 2010 he is part of the Latvian national football team.

Association

Ritvars Rugins played in the youth of the FK Tukums 2000 In young age, he joined the repeated Latvian champion.; FK Ventspils. At the club from the port city of Ventspils, he came into the Virsliga first time in the 2008 to four inserts in the professional sector. At the end of the season he won the championship with the team. In the 2009 and 2010 season, he was frequently used, and was able to enter with two or three goals in the scoring lists. Successes at the state level, he could not produce with the team in the two years, but in the Baltic League Baltic League for club teams. In the final match of 2009/10 the Lithuanian representatives Sūduva Marijampolė which was decided 5-3 in Elfmetschießen, he played until 65 minutes before Jurijs Žigajevs replaced him. In the 2011 season he also won the Latvian Cup in addition to the league title. In the Baltic League 2010/11 Rugins failed with Ventspils in the final at Skonto Riga. In January 2012 Rugins signed a contract with Illitschiwez Mariupol from Ukraine.

National

For Latvia Rugins already played in the U- 21 before he was appointed in the Latvian national team. He made his debut there against China in November 2010.
