The Angas River is a river in the Australian state of South Australia. It rises in Macclesfield on the eastern slopes of the Mount Lofty Ranges. From there flows southward through Strathalbyn and flows into Lake Alexandrina Milang and thus into the Murray River.

The river was discovered to Lake Alexandrina on 31 December 1837 by an expedition of Robert Cock, William Finlayson, A. Wyatt and G. Barton of Adelaide and named. It was named after the chairman of the South Australian Company, who had rendered outstanding services to the exploration of the new colony.
