Riverboat Gamblers

The Riverboat Gamblers are a punk rock band from Denton (Texas), now located in Austin (Texas ). You are currently at Volcom Entertainment under contract.

Career

Pat Lillard, bassist of the blanks, founded with guitarist Fadi el- Assad 1997, the Riverboat Gamblers. Lillards goal was The Candy Snatchers imitate from Virginia. With their songs about drinking and gambling, which they played especially at parties, they became known beyond the borders of Denton addition. Tim Kerr of the Big Boys produced her first two singles in 2001 and 2003. After the release of Something to Crow About and some positive reviews, the band moved to Austin in 2003. After their performance at the festival South by Southwest 2003 in Austin were some major label attention to the Riverboat Gamblers, but signed with the indie label Gearhead Records. 2005 joined the band to Volcom Entertainment, went on a long tour that took them to Europe. In June 2009, they play as an opener of Rancid and Rise Against in North America and then launched a tour of Europe.

For soundtracks to the video games Tony Hawk's American Wasteland, Madden 07, " Flatout Ultimate Carnage " and Skate 2, the Riverboat Gamblers are also represented.

Among the former members include bassist Pat Lillard, guitarists Jeremy Diaz and Colin Jones, the drummer Chris Adams and Jesse Hamilton. Jeremy Diaz was the first to leave the band. Clay Mills, who received also the first demo, took his place for a short time. Pat Lillard left the band in 2008.
