Rivière-du-Loup Regional County Municipality
Rivière -du -Loup is a regional county municipality (French municipalité régional du comté, MRC ) in the Canadian province of Quebec.
It is located in the administrative region of Bas- Saint- Laurent and consists of 13 subordinate administrative units (a city, eight municipalities and four Sprengel ). The MRC was established on 1 January 1982. The main town is Rivière -du -Loup. The population is 34,347 and the area 1768.20 km ², which corresponds to a population density of 19.4 inhabitants per km ².
