RK Bosna Sarajevo

RK Bosna Sarajevo is a Bosnian handball club from Sarajevo. RK Bosna Sarajevo takes place in the Handball Premijer league. In 2011, the men's team won for the seventh time in club history, the Bosnian championship. The home ground is the Dvorana Mirza Delibašić with a capacity of 5,000 spectators.

History

In the 2009/10 season they won their sixth championship and won the Bosnian Cup, which entitled to participate again in the Champions League. The seventh league title came a year later. In the cup it was eliminated in the semifinals after they lost at home against HRK Izviđač Ljubuški with 25:28. In the Champions League they reached, in a group with BM Ciudad Real, SG Flensburg- Handewitt and RK Zagreb, a fourth place. This allowed them for the first time to participate in the second round, where they played against Medwedi Chekhov and were eliminated with two clear defeats. In the EHF Champions League 2011/12 Bosna retired after significant defeats already in the group stage.
