RK Krim

The Rokometni club Crimea ( German handball club Krim ) is a women's handball club from the Slovenian capital Ljubljana. In Slovene, the abbreviation RK Krim is needed, the German, the association will however always referred to as Crimea Ljubljana. History

RK Krim was founded in 1984 and played for the first time in 1990 in the highest of the Slovenian League, where they finished the 5th Place. In 1993, the handball club could win the Cup for the first time, first time in 1995, the Slovenian Championship and thus managed to qualify for the Champions League. After a final appearance in 1999 Krim Ljubljana was first triumph in Europe's elite club 2001, 2003 repeat victory.
