RK Nexe Našice

RK Našice is a handball club from the Croatian town Našice. The first team plays in the Croatian league, as well as in the newly formed transnational SEHA League. An earlier name of the association is RK Partizan. Since 2009 he is named RK NEXE Našice.

History

The handball history in Našice began in 1956 when for the first time tried this sport in high school. Three years later, an association was officially founded under the name " RK Partizan ". After the first official match against " RK Polet " 1960 they played in April of the same year a " night play " on the square in the city, which was previously paved fresh. The match took strong encouragement from the audience.

Since the 2008/ 09 season of RK Našice was always runner-up behind the RK Zagreb. In the first part of the SEHA League 2011/12, he missed the play-offs only just fifth. 2012/13 it was only seventh.

Internationally, the club debuted in the EHF Cup in 2008 /09. Since then he took part in this competition each season and reached the 2011/12 the second round, where you just won the return match at home after a 31:33 defeat at SC Magdeburg with 22:21.
