Rob Minkoff

Rob Minkoff ( born August 11, 1962 in Palo Alto, California) is an American film director, animator and screenwriter.

Work

Minkoff revolves mainly films for Walt Disney Animation Studios, his first short films Tummy Trouble and Roller Coaster Rabbit from the years 1989 and 1990 were. Four years later, he turned with Roger all his most successful film to date, The Lion King. This has received numerous awards, including two Academy Awards and three Golden Globes. In the same year he was awarded for the film by the Los Angeles Film Critics Association Awards, the award for best animation. In 1999, Minkoff has directed Stuart Little and its sequel Stuart Little 2 Just one year later, the horror comedy The Haunted Mansion came out. The main role is played by Eddie Murphy. With the Martial Art Stars Jackie Chan and Jet Li in 2008 he turned his first adventure film The Forbidden Kingdom. Three years later (2011) was another comedy called Flypaper. The main characters are Patrick Dempsey and Ashley Judd are watching.

Since the September 29, 2007 Minkoff is married to Crystal Kung.
